In silver gilt, depicting three rays in each quadrant, totalling twelve, and a silver medallion in the center, with reverse inscription translating to Order of Merit Decoration'', measuring at 45mm (w) x 51mm (h), weighs 25. 2 grams, on period ribbon and in original case of issue with a purple velvet interior lining and medal bed. The case is missing the clasp. The medal is in extremely
