a very rare and complete dress belt of elite Slovak unit
measuring 27 mm (w) x 48 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension
were transferred to the Field Artillery of the 6th South African Armoured Division

Constructed of silvered brass with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, around a central enameled applique consisting of a black and white checkered centrepiece trimmed with a red border, situated atop a ribbed background, the reverse with a narrow barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch,
