Earrings | Gold drop with diopside heart | Lisa Roet meta-science-week-22 Made in Sydney by ceramicThe imprinted texture on these beautiful earrings is made from moulds of great ape skin made by Alfred Wallace from his tours in Borneo in 1855, which have been widely adopted by Roet throughout her practice. For the past 25 years Lisa Roet has been working with the image of the ape and monkey. Environmental issues, genetic discoveries and the evolving place of humanity within nature are themes addressed in her art practice. Through an
